Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project for Publisher

Google is Roll out Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) technology f Will Make the Mobile Internet Faster Early Next Year. Google will start sending search traffic to fast-loading AMP news articles. This technology is introducing the Accelerated Mobile Pages Project, for a clean, faster and open mobile web.

Google is updating their total system time to time. Few days ago we have seen a problem in Sitemap submission. At that time Google was working on it to improve sitemap. On the other hand Google has introduced structured data markup to make any website or Blog understandable by machine. So there are couple of surprise is coming soon one by one.

We should tailor our site according to Google’s structured systems. Yesterday Google announced about AMP which is also known as Accelerated Mobile Pages. This is a new project by Google which will begin sending mobile traffic from Google search to new fast-loading versions of news articles, which is made with its Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) project. However web developer has couple of month for developing their website because officially it will start at the end of February 2016.

On AMP project currently several apps builder and news sites are working, such as Messaging apps Line, Viber, and Tango Also there are several news outlets is participating, such as NDTV, Fox News, Joongang, Cinematoday, and Nikkan Sports.  


All of the apps and sites will be link with AMP project and Google Analytics will monitor the AMP content performance.

What exactly Accelerated Mobile Pages Technology?

When a search query made through Smartphone then Google will send the traffic to faster loading site. To understand the fastest loading site on mobile device AMP adopt a technology which is slightly different, because it exposes a proxy cache. But this is not like a content-distribution network (CDN).

AMP technology is not for small Blog and website. Because small sites and blogs publishes very few contents every day. But if you can make your site faster then there are chances to divert big chunk of traffic.

 AMP pages themselves include some basic CSS and HTML. In addition a page validator and certain specific advanced web components also included.

For the AMP page while we go for validate structured data markup In Google structured data markup tester then we see several error like it can’t understand the image, publisher, content etc.  Even my site was validating before 11 December 2015 but now displaying several errors.

Google has also unveiled a developer preview of the AMP project and Google can see more than 16,000 new AMP pages each day. Actually Google has come up with Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) project to create a fast and beautiful content browsing experience for mobile web. And only extremely fast sites will get priority in mobile search engine.

How to check our site under AMP project?

Currently there are limited number of webpage is working under AMP projects. Maybe your page won’t work right now. To see how AMP works you have to search within a specific link. Open your Google Chrome browser and type below link in your mobile browser to see demo-

However, WordPress already announced that they are developing a plugin to the AMP standard. This plugin will enable WordPress publishers to create AMP versions of posts with a single click. So this is good news for WordPress users.
